Micro-Internships at Colab are short-term paid internships in startup companies, designed to help you demonstrate your skills and explore opportunities while continuing your coursework. These are excellent way to start career working in small teams with impactful work.
What is the time commitment?
Irrespective to the company of your training level, each internship will have 10hrs/week time commitment.
Are the Internships paid?
Yes! These are fully paid internships. After you finish your training with Colab, you can choose role (complimenting your training) from the various offered companies. All the compensation depend upon your training level:

How does these internships work and what if I can’t travel?
All the Internships Are Remote.
These work just as a regular internship. You’ll be onboarded on a company’s stack and systems and be assigned tasks. We’ll just be there to assist you and facilitate any movement between the companies
How long does the internship lasts?
Each Micro-Internship contract lasts for 3-months!
After 3 months, you can choose to either options:
- Continue working with same company
- Switch to a different company with a similar role, pertaining to a training
- Upskill to a higher Training Level

Do I need to sign any contract with companies?
Nope! You only deal with Colab, we want you to focus on applying your talent. We’ll take care of the rest.
Does Colab take a percent from my salary?
Absolutely NOT!
Contrary to what our competition does, we look down upon that practice and never charge you a commission. Its your money.
How do I get paid?
Once you are onboarded with Colab, you get access to a dashboard where connect your bank accounts and all the payouts are schedule directly there. We partner with Stripe for a secure service.
Do you work with international students?
Yes, we do!
Colab will work with international students towards their internships and work visas to helpful successfully start internships with peace of mind.
Note:
If you are on a CPT, you can pursue micro-internships without any hesitation, since these are well under the part-time commitment hours.
